Beef sisig recipe

BEEF SISIG RECIPE :-



Ingredients:-

- 500g beef fillet, sliced thin

- 200g beef liver, diced

- 4 tbsp soy sauce

- 4 tbsp black vinegar

- 3 dashes Maggi seasoning

- 2 green chillies, diced

- 2 spring onions, sliced thin

- 1 lime

- 2 tbsp mayo + more for garnish

- 1 egg

- 2 bird's eye chilli

- 5 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 red onion, diced

- 3 tbsp grapeseed oil

- Salt to taste


Method :-

1. Start by marinating the beef in soy and vinegar for 30 minutes. Then drain the beef but keep the marinade in a separate bowl.

2. Next, heat a wok with 1/2 of the oil and add the drained beef.

3. Stir fry for a few minutes or until just cooked. Then remove from the wok and set aside.

4. Add the rest of the oil to the wok and cook the liver for a few minutes and set aside.

5. Add 1/2 the red onion, garlic, and green chillies to the wok and cook for a few minutes or until they start to go translucent.

6. Add the beef and liver back to the wok followed by the leftover marinade and Maggi seasoning.

7. Cook this for 4 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

8. Add the other half of the red onion and stir through.

9. Turn the heat off and stir through the mayo.

10. In a separate pan, fry the egg.

11. Serve the sisig in a sizzling pan, garnished with mayo, spring onions and egg on top.

12. Enjoy with rice!
